Christmas at home was seriously the best week. Here are some highlights:

 My mom's tree this year was real pretty.

 Pinata on Christmas Eve. Mexican Christmas in Canada? Just go with it.

 Christmas morning with the fam! I missed Seth.

I am in love with Amazon.
I literally did all my Christmas shopping online this year, and so happy I did.

BYU basketball is back. That's really happy.

So is hockey. Even more happy.

Vegas 2.0

Brett teaching my baby sister how to gamble. She's 15 by the way. And my mom is listening and enjoying. Real cool, family.

 Being a lion at the MGM Grand. Taite missed the boat of doing a claw.

Went to Vegas to see the family and celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving? What better way of celebrating a holiday about the harvest then walking the Vegas Strip and seeing the Cirque De Soleil production Ka? I couldn't think of a better way.

Costume Kids

So I did some costuming for a commercial the other week.
These kids are seriously the cutest.
Also, it was filmed in Midway which is seriously heaven on earth. I may want to move there in the new future.

D and I took a trip up the Canyon this weekend to check out the new fall leaves.
And even though it was was a bit early, they looked great!

I have been busy.
I've been hustling to sew a costume for an upcoming commercial. And I finished Saturday! It was a huge relief.

Midnight in Paris

Please tell me you have seen this movie.
I've seen it 5 times in theaters. I'm slightly obsessed.
But it is such a beautiful movie. Paris. The 1920s. Literary geniuses. What else could you ask for?

Brett and my baby sissy Taite came to visit me in Utah! It was happy. And what do you do when you come to Utah?

Moved

I moved, again. Come visit.
Moving also means I have internet again. Which means I'll be back to be ol' bloggin' self.

Holly came to visit! So we went for snow cones and walked to Bridal Veil Falls. I love when people from home are here. I definitely get home sick every time.

BYU

A few days ago, I was on BYU campus and ran into the BYU adult ballroom camp. Needless to say, I watched for a good 15 minutes. And loved every minute of it.

Studying

I've been trying to study these past few days for my test.
However, I keep getting distracted with Project Runway.
I would love to be able to sew and create like any of the people on the show.

Toms

I've been trying really hard lately to save my pennies. However, I still find myself online shopping and drooling over things that hopefully one day I can own. These are the latest:

Apparently they are sold out everywhere? Understandable I guess since they are very attractive.

I feel like I have a strong connection with Toms shoes. I literally wore them everyday when I was in the Middle East, and after walking hundreds of miles in them, they became like my babies. The saddest day happened when I threw all my Jerusalem Toms away because they were completely worn to pieces.

I miss Israel. And my Toms.

Stadium of Fire

Last night, baby sis Taite and I went to Stadium of Fire in Provo. No matter how many shows I see or how many times I go, this seriously blows my mind every time. Just think: Musicians (this year Brad Paisley. Not my personal favorite, but I didn't hate yelling "Yeehaw!" every 5 minutes), Fly overs, Dancers, American Pride, and the most amazing firework show you have ever seen. If you haven't seen it, please go. You'll thank me later.

So True.
