Stressing.

Lately, I have been stressed. Why?
1) I'm taking the GRE very soon. Too soon.
2) I work two jobs, and their schedules have been conflicting. So, trying to find replacements for one while I work at the other has been hard and to be honest, not working out how I wanted.
3) Keeping up with the bills. Having jobs and being on your own is tough stuff.
4) Finding a balance between life and fun and spiritual matters. How do people do it when they have so much on their plate?

Here's to a better, less stressful week!

Utah Arts Fesitval.

This past weekend is always one of my favorite weekends in Salt Lake- the Utah Arts Festival. Why you may ask? What could get better then 6 stages of music, dancing, and poetry all day, booths of crafts and art set up around the beautiful Salt Lake Library and City Building, and some of the best people watching in the state. The weather was beautiful yesterday as well, which topped off a wonderful day.

Plus I ended up getting a hand made leather bound notebook. Love it.

Is it pathetic that I'm already excited for next year's festival?

Spiral Jetty

So, David and I took a trip out to Spiral Jetty last summer, and I just got the pictures from it. Hooray! If you ever have a free day in Utah with nothing going on, I would recommend going. It's a giant spiral made of rocks jetting out into the Great Salt Lake (get the name?!). You will need a truck to get here since you have to drive through, no joke, cattle fields to get there. We ended up getting a flat tire in the Civic, which was no good when you're in the middle of nowhere. Even with that, I would recommend it.

Hot Air Balloon

I saw a hot air balloon in the sky on my way to work yesterday morning. It made me excited for Freedom Festival.

Goal of the Week

Go to the temple. (Provo, not New York. I wish it was New York)

Memorial Day.

This year I had the best Memorial Day. Why? Because Rachelle came to town! We went to hygiene school together, helped each other through all our finals and projects, lived together our second year of school, and have so many great memories. Now, she lives in Arizona and is super successful in her career and her life. I look up to this lady a lot.

David, Me, Natalia, Adam, and Shell. We biked for hours around downtown Salt Lake and hit up all the hot spots.

Engagment season.

Since it's spring, everyone's getting engaged. I'm nowhere near that, but if I was, I would want this ring.
