I'm still getting used to them. But I feel like a new woman.

snowed in.

It has been a constant blizzard the last few days. So windy and so much snow that I couldn't leave my house and my little car couldn't handle all the snow! So I've been doing some resting and relaxing all weekend, which has been really nice. However, I am starting to get cabin fever.
With the spare time, I've been doing a bit of housework.

Trust me. Housework does rule.

It's been almost one year since I went to the Dominican Republic to do free dental work. I love being there, meeting new friends, helping people with their teeth and being around the kids! I would love to go on another trip asap. Hopefully one works out in the near future.

A bike with built in lights. How wonderful. It would definitely keep the cops off my back while riding at night.

Side note: Who knew a cop would pull you over if you didn't have lights on your bike at night? I didn't. But it happens. To me.

I love to collect photos from all over the web. Here are some I'm obsessed with, but have nothing to do with each other.

dream house.

My friend Austin would always ask, "When you get your dream house, what will it have?". I now think about it constantly. Every time I go to home, I inspect every corner of it to see what I like. And because of that, my dream house list keeps growing.
1) Crown molding in every room.
2) Tall doors. I love tall doorways. Especially for the front door.
3) Speaking of fronts doors, I would love a huge brass door knocker. No joke, I love ones that are shaped like lions.
4) Speakers/music in every room. I love to listen to music while I clean, work, whatever. When I'm running all over the house, I hate now I'll only have music in one room, but in no other ones. With speakers everywhere, that problem will be taken care of.
5) A little nook with a guest bedroom and bathroom. I want people at my house constantly, and always feel welcome. Having a place for them to stay without feeling like they are in the way would be ideal.
6) A big patio/porch.
7) Tree swing.

*I have a really bad habit of killing songs I like by listening to the nonstop for 3 days, then hating it every time after said days.  They need an AA for this type of thing. I'd join.

It has been a long day. I especially miss my friends on a day like today.

baby sis and i saw the michael jackson movie/documentary/phenomenon last night. it literally blew my mind with what an awesome concert it would have been. My favorite part of the movie? he had a girl guitarist, and she was amazing. i love seeing girls melt faces with their talents.
