Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Not only is it in spring, the weather is (ususally) great, and baby animals are born, but there are so many great treats and crafts to go along with it. Today I made these rice krispie nests, which have become a tradition for me since I'm pretty sure I've made them every Easter since moving from home.

Behind the nest is my easter basket from D. Thanks guy. I love it!

Today...

I watched a homeless couple cuddle on the grass outside of our window. It may have been creepy, but I couldn't help but watch for a bit. It was sad they were homeless, but it was still happy and sweet because they had each other.

Happy Spring!

I've tried to get tons of baking in before I get a job. So to celebrate spring, I made a pin wheel cake.
This spring, I really like pin wheels.

Basketball Baby.

Remember my nephew Luke? Of course you do. I gush about him all the time. Well, that kid loves basketball. And people love to watch him love basketball. About a week ago, my sister in law Casey decided to shoot a quick vid of him and placed it on Youtube for our families to see. However, the video has become a lot bigger than expected and Luke is getting his 15 minutes of internet fame! He can be seen on ESPN and CBS, just to name a few. So check him out and fall in love, just as I have, with this kid!

Luke.

This little guy is so dang cute. And no longer little! He'll be two next month. He's the best.

Arcade Fire.

I was lucky enough to go to the Arcade Fire concert this weekend. Now, I love going to concerts, no matter who is playing. But I especially loved this one. Their music is so wonderful. Check them out if you already haven't. I mean, they are kind of a big deal, winning a Grammy and everything.

Also, they wouldn't let cameras into the show! So this photo from my phone will have to do.

Vegas.

I went to Vegas last week to visit my brother Brett. And to make it short, it was wonderful. And here's why:

1) The weather was great.
2) We road the roller coaster at New York, New York. Plus since Brett lives there, we got the locals discount.
3) We took a trip down Fremont Street, something I have never done. And it has the best people watching.
4) I swam/napped at the pool.
5) I read my books and had much needed laughs from Office eposides.
6) I toured UNLV, geocached on campus, and met Brett's classmates.
7) Stocked up on food/treats from Trader Joes.

Visiting family is the best.

For the Boys.

Though I'm not a boy, I've always wondered how a bow tie is tied. This guide is pretty as well as informative.

from here.

Disclaimer: Though this is from a wedding blog, I am no where near getting married. I just love reading them.

Surprise!

They started to grow! Hooray.

Orrin and Mark.

Mark Zuckerberg, from such fame as Facebook and the Social Network, which is about the FB, and Orrin Hatch, the senator, came to visit and chat. The place, AKA the Marriott Center, was packed. Who knew they would be such big deals in Provo? Then again, I drove an hour to see them. So I should've know.
