Since I have recently fallen in love with baking, I am now obsessed with cake stands. I want one.

I have a problem.
I love to start projects. But all at once. And then it gets overwhelming. Right now on the go, I have:
1) My laundry. Currently half done.
2) Applying for jobs. Just updated my resume so I'm good to go.
3) Blogging, obviously.
4) Indexing. Yes, you may think that only older people get into indexing, but I have become a huge fan of copying down New York WWII draft cards into a word document.
5) Getting ready for the day. Hair? check. Clothes? Still rocking the pjs.
6) Running errands. I've made my list. Now to just get it done!
7) Reading anything and everything on Wiki.

Internship
My days at the Utah State Capitol are officially over, as of Thursday. It went by so fast, but I loved every minute of it. I learned a ton, met wonderful people, and now understand how government really works. My last day I went to the hill a little bit early to walk around the buildings and take it all in before it ended.
Now I just need to figure out what I'm doing next with my life!

Last night
Jake came down from Idaho.
Steph came up from Provo.
We all met downtown Salt Lake.
We walked around, took pictures, ate cereal, and pretended we were tourists again, just like we did for 4 months in Jerusalem.
I like you both a lot.

my plant (or should I say, seeds)
The other day while spending some quality time with Target, I noticed they had flower seeds already in stock. Since I'm aimed on spring coming, there would be no better way to celebrate the season has having home grown wild flowers! Though I have the worst green thumb, the packet said they were guaranteed to grow. So I bought them.
It's been two weeks since planting them. And nothing has grown. I've watered them everyday, make sure they had enough sun. I even felt bad for the seeds when it was raining outside and they had to stay inside! Hopefully soon they will start to grow so we can fully welcome in spring!

That one time.
Remember that one time I went to Jerusalem for 4 months?
Today, I am missing everything about that place. The sights, the people, the food, the atmosphere. But mainly, the sounds.
My favorite street performer on Ben Yehuda Steet, West Jerusalem. No joke, the day was always wonderful when we ran into this guitarist.

Antiquaria
Though I don't have my own home or have lived in the same place for more than 6 months in the past few years, I still love to look at home things and dream about my future home. I ran across the Antiquaria website, and instantly fell in love with everything they carry.
Classy.
I've been trying to up my classy level. So, to do that, I went to the Utah Symphony. And I'm not going to lie. I got a tiny bored in it and wanted to take a nap. Maybe classy just isn't for me?
I wish I had these vintage opera glasses to take to the concert tho. At least I would've looked the part!

weekend in Provo.
I went down to Provo last weekend for a quick few days away from the big city. And it was exactly what I needed.
The next morning, Tessa made the best breakfast. She is such a classy lady.
Thanks for the great weekend!
Cake 2.0
Cake #2 of last week. Chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, topped with peanut butter cups. So rich, but so delicious.
