Heart Pinata

David and I made a heart pinata for his mom for her birthday and I'm still obsessed with it. But it didn't just have treats inside. Why not fill a heart pinata with a little love? So, everyone in the family chipped in a few love notes to express how much they love their mom on her special day. It was a hit! I want to make another one right now just because!

Big News.

We bought a house. We are officially adults now and I can't get over it. (Thought it doesn't look like it in this photo, David is way excited about the house. He just wasn't excited about taking the picture.)

Next project- to decorate it. What are your favorite home deco/DIY/furnishing sites? We are looking for some serious inspiration to make this thing beautiful and reflect our personalities.

Highlights from July 4th

Here are just a few of the highlights from another successful 4th of July. My little sissy moved to Provo so she was able to hang out with us all day and I loved it! I'm trying to convince the rest of the family to move here now.

Great Gatsby

Have you seen the new Great Gatsby?
I would highly recommend it, mainly to see the clothes.
They are gorgeous.
And a perfect blend between the 1920's and 2010's.
It definitely made me want to live in the 20's time period even more.

Last night, we got back from our trip to Europe. It was magical. And since I have some serious jet lag (talk about being wide awake at 3:30 AM), I figured I would post a few of my favorite pictures from Paris.

Missing baby Liam today.

Yesterday

Yesterday was hard.
We moved to David's parents house for a bit until we can move into our new place.
It poured with rain.
I got glue in my eye while getting eyelashes done for our Canadian Wedding reception next week. So I felt like a bimbo with fake lashes, but now a bimbo with blood shot eyes.
And being married sometimes is just hard, even though it has only been 2 weeks.

But, I came across this page will all sorts of videos. Seriously, if you are having a bad day, watch them all. You will laugh for a good hour and feel so much better about the day.

Easter Morning

Positive: David got me an Easter basket this year.
Negative: He woke me up in the middle of the night to give it to me. And made me take a picture with it in the middle of the night. He was that excited.

Wedding

We did it. And I still can't believe it.

This is a quick snapshot of our reception in Provo with some of my best friends. It was such a beautiful and fun night. Wedding planning may have been stressful and I may have cried a lot, but it all worked out perfect! I am now trying to convince David to get into the Wedding Planning Biz with me. He isn't sold quite yet.
